Ready to pick up your adrenaline this weekend?
2. Club concert of Georgi Hristov in Varna
Undoubtedly Georgi Hristov is one of the legends on the Bulgarian scene, a unique star with his own style and class, professionalism, sophistication and prestige. His repertoire includes various performances, including ballads, disco, Latin, rock and folklore from different parts of Bulgaria. On October 12, Saturday, at 10 pm, is his club concert at Piano bar Sinatra - Varna, 33 Slivnitsa Blvd.
3. Sauna in the holiday complex "Therma Village" in Kranevo
Have you ever visited the spa center of Therma Village Holiday Village. Its five-star Therma Palace and Therma Eco Village hotels pamper their guests with a wealth of choices. One is the sauna. The sauna is thought to have been designed for the first time in Finland. This is a type of dry bath that relies on dry heat to remove toxins from the body. Usually the temperature in the sauna is about 50-60 degrees Celsius and the humidity is between 15-30%. It has established itself as a method of alternative treatment and prevention.
4. The Golden Apple Festival in Kyustendil
The 16th edition of the Golden Apple International Children's Music Festival in Kyustendil will take place on October 12, 2019.
The Golden Apple International Children's Music Festival is held annually in the autumn in Kyustendil. It brings together talented children from Bulgaria and all over Europe. The festival is organized thanks to the enthusiasm of Mr. Ivan Stoynev, longtime leader of the children's vocal group "Tip Top" in Kyustendil. The Tip-Top vocal band was created in 1984.
The main goal of the Golden Apples Festival is to enable the talented children of Bulgaria to manifest themselves, to cultivate an attitude towards good Bulgarian music.
The mission of the festival is to bring together children from different countries, of different nationalities, who share the love of good music.
5. Cave Prohodna
You love family walks or being outdoors with friends. Well, it's your choice! Prohodna is one of the most famous and easily accessible caves in Bulgaria. It is located 2 km from the village of Karlukovo and only 112 km from Sofia. The cave is a natural rock bridge 262 m long. There are 2 entrances - big and small. From the small entrance, about 35m high, there is a path that runs through the entire cave and exits through the large entrance (the largest cave vault in Bulgaria - 45 m).
Prohodna is naturally illuminated by the huge entrances and by the natural openings in the ceiling - "windows". It is the "windows" that make the cave unique. Situated side by side in the same almond shape, the windows are remarkably like huge eyes that seem to stare at visitors. It is no coincidence that the local people call them the "Eyes of the Lord" and sometimes the "Eyes of the Devil". When viewed from a certain angle, they even resemble a face that looks down sharply, and in wet weather, tears seem to flow from them. Faced with this natural phenomenon, one is amazed and slightly excited - the incredible symmetry and layout of the windows inspires awe and a sense of mystery. The cave was declared a natural landmark in 1962.
