Varna Airport has provoked photo-maniacs with a competition for a photo from a top location

Varna. Varna Airport announces a competition for the best photo taken from a specific place by August 31st. The location of the photograph is as follows: northern latitude: 43 ° 13'40.45" and eastern longitude: 027 ° 48'13.66", where the visibility to take off and landing planes is perfect.

As is well known, the number of airplanes at Varna airport increases significantly in the summer. It is expected that this year's busiest day will be August 30, when the airline expects 109 aircrafts. For this reason, “Fraport Bulgaria” organizes a “Summer Avi Eye” contest and invites photographers to send their works to ftspr@fraport-bulgaria.com by August 31st.

Photos will be posted on the Facebook page of Varna Airport in September and the winners will be determined by the fans on the page. The photos that collect the most likes and reactions will be rewarded. The first prize is a voucher for 500 leva, the second for 300 leva and a third voucher for 100 leva. One participant can not take more than one prize. If a contestant has pictures in the first and second place, he receives only the first prize and the second is awarded to the next in the ranking.

Only JPEG files are accepted for participation, the recommended size is 2000 x 3000 px, and the maximum admissible file size is 2MB. Files can be sent only through the specified email address, each participant being allowed to apply up to three photos (one to three, at the request of the participant).

Only authors' photographs taken from the site are allowed to take part in the competition and must not contain names, aliases or other inscriptions identifying their author. Also, the photos should have aesthetic value and match the set theme. The organizers of the contest reserve the right to remove, at their discretion, all photographs that violate ethical norms, current legislation, or in any way impair the prestige of the contest. The organizers are also entitled to unilaterally supplement or change the rules, and the changes will take effect immediately after their announcement on the Facebook page of Varna airport and on the website of Fraport Bulgaria. By participating in the contest each participant declares that he is aware of his / her rules and agrees to comply with them.

Certain photographs can be selected by Fraport Bulgaria's board of directors to take part in an exhibition in autumn. "We would like to organize an event to meet the people in Varna. We know from our pages in the social networks that people who like to shoot planes would like the airport to be more friendly to them - as they themselves say - and this is one step on our part, albeit small, "said the director of Varna airport Dimitar Kostadinov.

The contest can be attended by all those willing, amateur and professional, without any limitation of age and nationality. Each participant in the contest grants the organizers the right to publish the works they are participating with for Fraport Bulgaria promotional purposes as well as for advertising and PR materials without limitations. Printed copies for the final exhibition remain the property of the organizers.
