Sting and Shaggy are teaming up for a 2018 European summer tour in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
According to the latest news about the 2018 European tour in Plovdiv, Sting and Shaggy will perform together for the concerts. The two singers will perform songs from 44/876, as well as hits from their respective catalogues. Sting will do songs from his days as frontman for The Police (such as "Every Breath You Take" and "Message In A Bottle") and his solo career ("Englishman In New York"). Shaggy is expected to perform his best-known hits, including "It Wasn't Me," "Angel" and "Mr. Boombastic." The touring musicians will be guitarists Dominic Miller and Rufus Miller and drummer Josh Freese from Sting's band. Shaggy's band members on the tour will be keyboardist Kevon Webster and backup vocalists Melissa Musique and Gene Noble.
The pair initially joined creative forces to record their new song “Don’t Make Me Wait” – a tribute to the Caribbean sounds that influenced them both – and ended up recording an entire album full of joy, melody and uplifting music.
On June 19th and 20th in Plovdiv we will have the exclusive opportunity to hear the two artists who will perform pieces of their upcoming joint album 44/876, which was released on April 20th.
