Varna: Professional fighting gala evening SENSHI. The K1 legend Peter Aerts in Bulgaria!
The best athletes in kickboxing and Muay Thai in the Balkans arrived in Bulgaria for the first ever professional fighting gala evening Senshi. It will be held on February 23, 19:30 at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna. Entrance fee: 10lv.
In the ring for the first time in Bulgaria, kickboxing legends from Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Serbia and Greece and other Balkan countries will stand against each other. Yordan Yankov will fight for the European title of WAKO PRO against the Macedonian fighter Boban Iliovski.
At the Senshi professional gala evening, you will witness an exciting and very challenging Wako-Pro Intercontinental title between world boxing champion Christian Korunchev and one of the most titular Serbian fighters, Nikola Todorovic.
The two WAKO PRO titles will be played in the K1 style, with the contestants having a total of 5 rounds of 3 minutes to win the prestigious awards.
The captain of the national kickboxing team of Bulgaria, Atanas Bozhilov, the favorite of the Varna audience and one of the most prominent young contestants Bogdan Shumarov, as well as the muay thai star of Bulgaria Anton Petrov are among the other fighters who will present Bulgaria the first of its kind sporting event in February.
The professional boxing gala evening kickboxing and Muay Thai Senshi is the first of many to be held during the year. The aim of the organizers is through them to promote the martial sports in Bulgaria by giving them a platform for spectacular and exciting competitions. The next professional battle gala evening is to be held in spring in Arena Armeec Hall in Sofia.
Meanwhile, a real glory in the world kickbox arrived for the first time in Bulgaria. Peter Aerts arrived at the invitation of the Bulgarian Confederation of Kickbox and Muay Thai and with the assistance of the Armeec Insurance Company. Arts attended the training of Armeec Sports Club and actively participated in the activity, giving some lessons to the native fighters and their coaches, and they were delighted by their important guest and the opportunity to touch on this grandeur from which they were inspired over the years, many fighters around the world.
Peter Aerts is not on holiday in Bulgaria, and on Friday he is heading to a three-day camp at the Belmeken high-mountain base, which is organized by the Bulgarian Confederation of Kikboxes and Muay Thai. The Dutch legend is a special guest and around 200 fighters and coaches will take part in the camp, with clubs from across the country and the event is expected to be of great interest to all.
