More than 340,000 tourists from the UK visited Bulgaria since the beginning of 2018!

Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova met with the Minister of Arts, Heritage and Tourism of Britain during the largest exhibition for tourism WTM (World Travel Market) in London, the Bulgarian National Radio reported.

Minister Angelkova introduced Bulgaria as a year-round tourist destination with a focus on summer and winter tourism. She didn`t miss to mentioning and the other specialized types of tourism that develop in Bulgaria as balneo, eco, cultural, archeological and others.

Angelkova said that more than 340,000 tourists from the UK visited Bulgaria since the beginning of the year. This is 16% more than 2017. The Minister expressed her hope that this high level of interest will continue during the upcoming winter season.

The winter resorts of Bulgaria such as Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo, Chepelare, Panichishte and many others be at European level, both in terms of service and hotel base, equipment and opportunities for sports and tourism.
