Strauss Capelle Vienna comes in Sofia with a staff of 35 people

Strauss Capelle Vienna, the original orchestra of Johann Strauss, will visit us on December 1 in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture. The Bulgarian audience will have the opportunity to hear the world-famous waltzes and polka, as originally created by the Strauss dynasty. We will see Strauss Capelle Vienna perform their favorite musical masterpieces, dressed in their authentic historical costumes.

 Strauss Capelle Vienna presents their sensitive musical interpretations both in Vienna and international festivals and concerts around the world. So they have established their excellent reputation over the last four decades.

Their reputation is such not only because the orchestra was created by one of the most beloved and talented Austrian composers, but also because of impressive musicians who are the face of Strauss Capelle Vienna today.

For the concert in Sofia the orchestra arrives in a composition of 35 people. From 2011, Chief Conductor of Johan Strauss' original orchestra is Maestro Rainer Roos. He was born in Stuttgart where he graduated from the Stuttgart Music School for Performing Arts (Musikhochschule Stuttgart).
