St. Anastasia Island invites the citizens of Burgas and everyone on their holiday on August 15th

Burgas. The St. Anastasia Island Tourist Complex celebrates its holiday for the sixth consecutive year. Although the patron saint of the piece of land in the sea is celebrated on December 22, the feast of the only inhabited island on the Bulgarian Black Sea is celebrated on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - August 15.

The holiday will start with traditional island greetings and authentic music. Controlled access to the island's lighthouse will be provided at 11:00 am, where you can enjoy unique views of Burgas and the bay.

At 11:30 am there will be a water service on the occasion of the Feast of the Virgin Mary, and at 11:45 there will be a traditional island choir with the "Strandja" ensemble.

At noon near the tents on the beach you can taste the freshly baked tin mussels just removed from the natural island farm. Then the poets from the Burgas Writing Community will appear in "The Poet's Hour".

At 5:30 pm, the youngest visitors will be able to embark on an adventure with the Crazy Lab and experiments with air, fire, wind and water. A dedicated team of specialists will introduce children to the history of St. Anastasia Island through fierce experiments and games.

The festive day will conclude with the concert performance "Westside Story - The Love of Maria and Tony", with the participation of Orlin Goranov, Orlin Pavlov and Edelina Kaneva, and the beginning is at 9 pm.
