Excursion program
Day 1: departure from Sunny Beach - 21:30. Upon your morning arrival in Istanbul, you will begin a guided sightseeing tour in the heart of the Old City, where history comes alive at every corner. You will visit the iconic Blue Mosque, famous for its elegant domes and six minarets, followed by the historic Hippodrome of Constantinople – once the center of social and political life in Byzantine times. Along the route, you will also see the impressive Obelisk of Theodosius and the ancient Serpentine Column, both carrying stories from ancient civilizations. The tour continues with a view of the magnificent Topkapi Palace (exterior), the former residence of Ottoman sultans. Later, you will cross one of the bridges over the Bosphorus to reach the Asian side of the city, where you will experience a different perspective of Istanbul. A visit to a leather goods factory is included, giving you insight into local craftsmanship and shopping opportunities. The day ends with accommodation in a comfortable 4★ hotel. In the evening, you may join an optional Night Bosphorus Cruise (55 EUR), which includes dinner, drinks, and an entertaining floor show featuring traditional belly dancing, Anatolian folklore performances, and live music – a perfect way to experience Istanbul by night.
Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel, you can choose to join an optional Bosphorus cruise (35 EUR), a relaxing two-hour journey between Europe and Asia, offering beautiful views of palaces, villas, and the city skyline. The program also includes a visit to the famous Spice Bazaar, where you will be surrounded by the rich aromas of spices, sweets, teas, and traditional goods. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace, enjoy shopping, or relax in a local café. In the late afternoon, at 17:30, departure to Bulgaria.
